Vehicle Plummets Off Castries Street Scarborough

Vehicle being towed away, after falling off  Castries Street  Scarborough

A Gold Matrix registration number PCD 782 tumbled from Castries Street and down to the street in the vicinity of the coast guard base in the capital Scarborough today.

According to police reports the Matrix, driven by 68 year old pensioner, Lenore Luke of Mary’s Hill, was left in neutral on Castries Street in the vicinity of the Adventist Book store with its hand brakes down while the driver ran to a nearby store.

The car tumbled down the hill and ended up on its side. Tobago channel 5 spoke to an eye witness about the incident. No one was injured in the melee, but the Matrix did hit a Silver Nissan b16 from the back.

The Nissan was being driven by Curtis Toppin of Delaford. Police Constable Sheldon Baker attached to the Scarborough Traffic department is continuing investigations.
